Our Coverage

One local expert, one reliable call — for all the towns in between.

The Cotswolds isn't a postcode. It's a stretch of limestone villages, market towns and country lanes where most properties were built long before gas central heating was invented. We travel a roughly 35–40 mile radius from the heart of the area, covering the main towns and the quieter villages that sit between them.

Where we work

Below are the main towns we serve regularly. If your village isn't listed, get in touch — there's a good chance we pass through your area already, and we're happy to say so plainly rather than leave you guessing.

Cirencester

Chimney sweeping and exterior cleaning across Cirencester and the surrounding villages, including South Cerney and Ampney Crucis.

Burford

A town built almost entirely of honey-coloured limestone — we sweep inglenooks and open fires here regularly, as well as log burner flues in the surrounding countryside.

Chipping Norton

Serving Chipping Norton and nearby villages including Churchill, Charlbury and the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside.

Stow-on-the-Wold

At the heart of the Cotswolds, Stow and the villages immediately around it — Bourton Road, Lower Swell, Maugersbury — are well within our regular rounds.

Bourton-on-the-Water

Chimney sweeping, gutter cleaning and patio cleaning for residential properties and holiday lets in Bourton-on-the-Water and nearby Northleach.

Moreton-in-Marsh

Covering Moreton-in-Marsh and the surrounding north Cotswold villages, including Blockley, Chipping Campden fringe and Bourton-on-the-Hill.

Witney

Serving Witney and the Windrush valley eastwards — many of the older properties here have chimney stacks that haven't been swept in years.

Cheltenham Fringe

The villages on the Cheltenham fringe — Prestbury, Charlton Kings, Leckhampton and into the Severn Vale edge — are within our range for chimney and exterior work.

Typical travel radius: We work within roughly 35–40 miles of the central Cotswolds. For towns at the outer edge of that range — Witney, Cheltenham fringe, Chipping Norton — we batch visits where we can to keep travel fair for everyone. If you're unsure, just ask: we'd rather tell you honestly than have you book and then cancel.

This area has more open fires per square mile than almost anywhere else in England.

The concentration of period Cotswold properties — stone-built houses, barns converted with original inglenook fireplaces, and seventeenth-century cottages given log burner inserts — means chimneys here are working hard. Many have wide, irregular flues that weren't designed with modern sweeping in mind.

We work carefully with these properties. That means checking for bird nest blockages before sweeping, understanding how an inglenook draws differently from a modern fireplace, and not using equipment or cleaning products that could mark Cotswold stone. Gutter cleaning and patio cleaning on a listed building requires exactly the same care.
